    Jarvis and Downing

Why can they never both have a good game whenever they are on the pitch at the same time, whenever one of them is doing decent work the other has ****up after ****up..

Apart from being in the right place to score, Jarvis didn't do that much. But he was still head and shoulders ahead of Downing. The f#cked-up clearance aside, he was still awful.

    Worst I've seen him play.

Should never have been on for the second half, totally uninterested. He can f uck off for all I care, back to Middlesborough. About his level.

    i didn't see the game.

... but, i think downing has been one of our form players of the season. not exceptional, but still better than most.

i know most get frustrated immediately after an average performance, but to honest, i'd rather him (and everyone else) get their sh!t games out of the way in games like this (away to superior opposition), and see them fire in games against similar/worse opposition.

Downing was total garbage last night but overall he hasn't done badly for someone who only cost 4 mill. You don't get much for that money in today's game, particularly for English players.

Personally I'd say Demel was our best player last night.

Downing cannot score and Jarvis struggles to play football.
