    Correction:

    Gers win: 3rd - ELQR2, 4th ELQR1
    Team win in 2nd: 3rd - ELQR2, 4th ELQR1
    Team win in 3rd: - 4th ELQR1
    Team win in 4th: - 3rd ELQR1

Anyway, long road to go... celtic, utd, saints, ict and 'big game for second, which will really just be don fans signing for 90 mins how they already had it in the bag weeks ago' to contend with.

    Here are the permutations...

    Dons win: 3rd - ELQR2, 4th ELQR1
    Gers win: 3rd - ELQR2, 4th ELQR1
Utd win & 3rd: No change
    St.J win: 3rd - No change

Man U are two points behind Spurs, they may catch them and be in EUQR3 (can't see them catch everton). So unless Dons or Gers win the cup, there is a high probability will be entering europa at round 1. And to be in the draw to get a 'big english club' 2 games will need to be won in europe.
Exactly point made we would have no chance. There is more chance of me winning the lottery than progressing one round never mind two.

Anyway like some others European footbal leaves me cold. I couldn't care less if we qualify for this money draining non event.

Our chance for glory was on a plate for us domestically , we blew

[quote="dasdeid"]The likelihood of M'well progressing into a round where drawn against TOP team is slim and/or non-existent.
Aware Hearts drawn against Spurs but they had/have much larger fan base than ourselves and play out of the capital = Full House + pumped. We have struggled (pumped) early rounds against our Europa opposition with our goal threat only occurring during the warm-up.

If fans wish to dream please continue but facts remain we're phish in Europe and M'well team everyone wants for their team to progress.
European football for M'well is a prize we do not want as financial drain on the club.
The fans respond in acceptable numbers but always come away disappointed.

I've posted before M'well participation in Europe is pointless and only pleasing to the few who wish to travel abroad to watch ... a day out !

Damage been done with recent results Hibs, Kilmarnock and St Mirren and our point cushion evaporated. Have little confidence will win many

I am sure we will 3rd at least as Dundee utd will now have sights on cup final and I remember we played great up to split in 2011 but never won another game after reaching cup final if I remember correctly. The home games against caley and saints will be must win games for this to happen and I am confident we will win them.
