Very deserved. Whatever the outcome of this season, Buxton has nailed his in 6 inch brass lettering high up on the long wall of the long corridor of Derby County legends. Superb example of how to defy your critics time and again.

brilliant for buckebauer. so difficult to split him, Bryson and martin this season. I wouldn't argue either way.

We all know that Bucko gives 100% every game but I always thought he was lacking that bit of something a Championship player needs, and I'd never believed a couple of years ago Bucko was capable of winning this award. It just shows how hard this guy has worked and what can be achieved. Well done Jake!!! and well deserved.

I'm well chuffed for Buxton i really wanted him to win. Clearly martin or Bryson have been great too, b ut the romantic in me is over the moon with this.
