Steve & his coaching staff will undoubtedly be planning their tactics for Thursday. It will be interesting to see his starting line up, & whether he goes straight on the attack to put Brighton in a defensive mode.
I feel the mid field players will be our key to success. It would be great to come home to IPro with a 2 goal advantage. Any thoughts guys?

I have the usual fans unfounded worries! But watching Brighton last night I thought we are better than this lot, should beat them home and away... Having said that I would be happy although a littler disappointed with a draw on Thursday. just want to make sure we don't do anything daft and go through!
Why is going through daft? I for one definitely want us to get to Wembley. Nothing worse than losing in a semi.
Brighton are good defensively, so we need to make sure they aren't able to come to the ipro and park the bus in front of goal. Teams that have done that have been successful.
Obviously you want to win your away leg and make it more comfortable at home. Doesn't always work out that way though, we beat Southampton away but had to rely on penalties in the home fixture - hope to god we don't need to do that this time.
What will be will be. I just hope we don't go to Brighton with 'not losing' as our main goal. If we play the way we have been, if we play the way we know we can, then we can cause them problems.
We should play our game and not change anything for them..
Would take a draw there and do em at home.

After Leeds I think the team picks itself.
Bamford was poor and we lacked creativity..
Grant
Wisdom
Bucko
The horse
Forsyth
Thorne
Bryson
Hughes (for me ahead of Hendrick)
Russell
Ward
Martin

I think the only position in dispute is that 3rd cm spot as you say, Hughes or Hendrick? I found it interesting that Mac played them both against Leeds. Says to me he isn't sure and hoped the Leeds game would assist him in that decision. Personally I'd play Hendrick over Hughes atm. He's got more goals in him and is on fire in his last few games. I think Throne has the passing game that Hughes has whereas Hendrick has a more direct aspect to his game which no one else in CM has.Originally Posted by AngryRam
Will be a tough call but I don't think Hendrick is as effective away from home. For me his best games are at the ipro.

hughes for me. I think we need that ball retention ability against a brighton side that could try and starve us of the ball.
hendrick gets my vote
