    stay off the pitch

So there will be a lap of appreciation after the game on Sunday (regardless of the result) provided the fans stay off the pitch. I really hope we all adhere to the request and allow the players and family to show their appreciation. Last time, against Southampton, I seem to recall a mass pitch invasion. Please, please, please don't anyone do it this time.

I know they appreciate us, they tell us every week. I'd rather run on the pitch! I love a pitch invasion, just as long as it happens on the right occasion.

As for against Southampton, I seem to remember it was a profitable pitch invasion for Bear. He got a quid chucked at him by the Southampton fans pocketed it

I share your sentiments but fat chance of that happening and I guess there are many who enjoy running on the pitch.

Sod the running. I'd have to walk on to the pitch.

No chance that people will keep off the pitch. Remember after the Southampton game in the rain? It was fantastic and I didn't care that I was soaked to my pants! All on the pitch I say

Anyone remember the pitch invasion against Chelsea, early 70s?

I'm with bear of this one. being on the pitch in the soaking rain after the soton game was one of my favourite all time memories of watching derby. it was epic.

Ok I'll put myself in the firing line here.
What about the players and the fans who don't want to go on the pitch?
Why not allow the players and staff to say thanks and then have your moment?
    Or is that too fair?
