I know it was a tense end Paul but did you simply soak your pants or like me cap yourself?

Why not allow the players and staff to say thanks and then have your moment?
    Or is that too fair?
    yeah far too fair :-P

what's so good about this lap of honour? they walk around the pitch and clap. you clap back. how's that any different to the end of any home or away game? or is it specifically for people that usually leave 5 minutes early to get home 10 minutes earlier? :-P

it can't compete with the euphoria of being on the pitch where it all happened. literally giving the players a pat on the back and congratulating them face to face.

perhaps when I'm an old boy myself and lose the ability to run i'll change my mind ;-)

If Derby go through to the final there is absolutely NO chance that fans will stay off the pitch. In fact unless it goes to penalties or a nail biting finish, fans will move down to the front at least 2 minutes before the end and by the time the whistle goes the whole sections in front of the front row will be full of people waiting to run on.

No doubt about it. If we have a 2+ aggregate lead going into injury time, the whole pitch side will be packed with fans just waiting for the whistle as a signal to get on the pitch. Also, say Brighton are 1-0 up and we nick an equalising goal in the 93rd minute, they'll be on the pitch then too.

Well I was on it after the whistle went against Southampton. And you can bet bottom dollar I'll be on after the Brighton game. (That's if we win triz) Its doesn't happen very often in your lifetime you'll see your team secure a place at Wembley... so C O Y R.. Lets get on that pitch
