    Hot air?

Seen two different interviews now, with Kranjcar and Green, and both say the final will be a battle of attrition, the team with the most desire will to win, football is secondary, the team that can handle the big occasions will win.

    Party line?

Think they are trying to un-nerve our 'young inexperienced' team as they fear our gallant style?

Be careful, it's probably a yellow card offence!

Depends how you read it. I think think its a round about way of saying they have the big game players!

They may have, but recent history tends to suggest that those that have played in those big games recently, have not done so well. Hence relegation followed by slide into play-offs.

Silence would be our best response to any mind games.

*Cliche` alert*: Let's let our football do the talking!

I'm not unduly worried about a team of overpaid ageing journeymen!

We know they have big game players because of their experience. Our own players know that.

It's all mind games. However - We have to respect them but we finished 3rd in the league, comfortably. We are the highest scoring team in the league, we coasted the second leg of the semi finals, we are the form team.

QPR - They finished bottom of the Premier league, they only won 4 matches last season and missed out on survival by 14 points, so despite their 'big premier league' players, they weren't much cop as a prem side. They finished 5 points behind us, away from Loftus Road they lost nearly half their games, they scored 24 less goals than us this season.

They're going to be up for it and give it their all. Where as teams can be caught napping in league games, no such chance in the play offs. So the final will be a massive test for us. We might not be good enough when it comes down to it, maybe their experience will win through over our lack of it.

But if we are 100% on it and Steve get

Ramondo wise words - all we want is the boys to turn up and give their best - if that dosnt beat the money players in QPR then fair enough. But no one at the beginning of this season would have expected Derby to be the most prolific scoring team or even finished third place ( apart from a few dreamers who attend pride park)

It's been a fantastic season what ever happens! Record points for the club speaks volumes.
When we beat QPR at the Ipro it was on the end of our poor short of goals run. We didn't play great but still beat them. Admittedly Charlie Austin didn't play but neither did George Thorne!

I think we have as much chance as they do, we maybe even edge it.
