This FFP is all well and good (I think). But at the end of the day, with or without it, our 'business model' is dire.
Yes there have been many inroads made upon our income to expenditure imbalance, and I believe that our particular case will be seen in that light.
Venkys naivety will I think be a considered factor and the subsequent huge loss in our valuation (and their 'investment') could be seen as 'punishment' enough.
What they will need assurances of is the 'good intentions' of our owners in putting us back onto a even keel, so that we do not go the way of a Portsmouth.
The indications' coming back with GB; out of Pune should give us a fair indication of Venkys good intent (or otherwise).
Something needed to be done to put the brakes on this crazy circus of Skys making as it has got so, so far out of control.
Witness the high end ticket costs of the super attractive FA Cup final!!!
Worth it ???

If the core of the team is right, it may well be a blessing. We had too many midfielders this season, funny how the run at the end of the season essentially involved not tinkering too much.Originally Posted by Howie5o

Agree about Citeh Dan ..but a tranfer embargo would hurt us IF as GB has stated at the end of the season he STILL needs three!! more windows to get the squad right ?? !![]()
(i agree with you ..the less he can tinker the bloody better )
What will happen to the money from the fines?
When they started they said fines would be split up between the clubs that hadn't broke the rules but I believe the Premier League objected and it was decided to donate fines to Charity.Originally Posted by AucklandRover
