    Clarkson playing like he did in his last season would a great addition to the squad - however, I seriously doubt he's at that level now.

    Interesting what you say on returning players though. Yes we had McClair but also Craigan, O'Donnell, Faddy, Lasley, Hammell...for some reason we've done brilliantly getting players back. So while I wouldn't really bid for him, if no one else does and he's willing to do six months for expenses like Reid or Ojamaa, I'd take a chance on him on that basis.

    Majority remember his last season and forget could not hit coo's ar$e with a banjo the season(s) before.
    His ball control shocking and had a 'purple' patch that brought him a transfer ... look elsewhere.

    Clarkson is not what we need next season. If we need a striker, young Erwin should get a chance. David Clarkson belongs to yesterday.

    Erwin is a good young player but has had a couple of bad injuries. Need to see how he comes back from them i think.
