I thought Mac made a mistake by bringing Bryson and Dawkins on in place of Hughes and Russell. who were both creating problems for QPR. Still its easy being wise after the event. Also does yesterday prove Keogh is not good enough. We all know he always makes some **** ups in games but yesterdays was the worst he'll ever make.

I think he made two mistakes.
1. Starting Hughes not Bryson as Bryson would have forced a quicker tempo in the first half and most likely broken them down within the hour. We played intone their strengths with the slower dimension.
2. Taking Russell off for anyone was a mistake he was running at and accross their back four and frightening them to death. The sending off showed that. Should have left him on with other changes.

They had no intention in attacking us in numbers at that point and if they would have left space that we could have exploited.
Just seemed we were so intent on trying to finish the game within 90 minutes.
I was worried about exactly what happened moments before the goal, in the knowledge a goal at that point was going to be fatal.
it was a gamble, had it worked, it would have been a different story.
At the end of the day there has to be a loser.
Steve is yet to buy a player, all his signings have be loans, if he can buy players which match them loans we will be up there again.
We must remember where we were before Steve came.
At the end of the day it is team effort, we win as a team and lose as a team.
No good picking on players, mistakes happen but what about the times theses players get us out of the s**t.
Next season will be the test.
Yes, add to that the bewildering decision to continue with Jamie Ward. Never have I seen such continuous waste of corners, his in-game delivery was equally poor.
Green had time to adjust his feet, and position whilst waiting for the dolly catch to arrive.
I'm relived people are staring to see what I see every week.Originally Posted by neilltheram

mac had a shocker. that said I'm not complaining because getting us there in the first place was an incredible achievement.
I don't think Mac made a mistake at all.
The players have to do the job they're put out there to do.
We wasted so many opportunities by not putting in a decent ball. Then mistake and some collected nativity cost us at the end.
Lots of 'if we'd have put this player on here or there' theories as always but none of us truly knows if any of it would have been better or worse. I think we lost primarily because of a lack of experience and not having enough quality to put a killer cross in when we had the chance.
Nope. He's bought Dawkins. Who for me doesn't quite do it. I know some on here really rate him, but I have him 4th choice behind Ward, Russell and Bamford for the wide slots.Originally Posted by DE23
