    As with reply just to Woody, his sons ran Man.Utd in last year or so, saddled the club with huge debt. Saying that, he's someone's Dad.

    There's quite the dichotomy in how Glazer is perceived in the States vs how he's perceived in England.

    He purchased the perennial loser Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL in the mid 90s. In the nearly 30 previous seasons, they made 3 playoff appearances and only 3 seasons with a winning % at 50 or above. Within Glazer's first 10 years of ownership, they had 6 winning seasons and won the Super Bowl. He's pretty respected in American circles.

    Then you have his takover of Manchester United that caused the club to go from incredibly rich to incredibly in debt. Fans hated him so much they started a new club! He never even set foot in Old Trafford. But they kept winning and their brand has continued to increase worldwide so hard to really complain. But still an example of the Premier League not really caring who owns the clubs or how they came to own them.
