Can't believe I stayed up to watch that!I think it was a hope that we would beat such a dirty side. What were they hoping to achieve in a friendly by such bad tackling?
I couldn't fathom how England managed to lose the ball or pass it to an opponent time and again!

Shocking. Has Sturridge had his Liverpool top on, he would have buried both of his chances.

Rooney is easily the most over rated player in the history of football. Barkley offers so much more. Straight swap next Saturday for Rooney, and our only chance is to outscore ever team we play, as we look fragile defensively.

    Henderson was our best player.

Last night went from a warm up game to a don't get injured game. Honduras are disgraceful for playing a friendly in that manner.

Where the heck is Honduras anyway?

Sounds like a group of motorbike enthusiasts to me.

I thought exactly the same ...May 24th... although nothing at stake yesterday!

Am I the only one who was reminded of May 24??[/quote]

I didn't think so. I thought derby did everything right but just didn't quite get enough players in the box and have that cutting edge. we got the ball out wide quickly and stretched QPR, they were just very solid.

England on the other hand didn't have a clue tactically. no width whatsoever. very little movement. no effort to drag players out of position. just dire.

I felt utterly despondent at half time, I couldn't bring myself to watch the second half...90% of the time I watch England it's like this. I remember thinking our Derby team could put on a better performance than England.
