If we are going to be successful in our pursuit of GT then we will have to pay his full value which I think we would all agree is considerably more than what we reportedly offered.

It seems Baggie fans are right about their chairman being a bit of a tough nut. They've also rejected a one million pound bid from Burnley for Dawson, but as you can clearly see, there's no mention of his in the statement. They're singling Thorne out, making an example of him.

Not really singling anyone out at all as both offers for Thorne and Dawson were laughable. It has been stated no player is for sale. Yes of course every player has a price, offer 6 million and JP will bite your hand off for Thorne. I doubt, depsite what Derby in the knowers say, negotionations have been going on for a month as our new Technical Director did not start until the 1st of June.
