Come on Mods - get the job done. I want football not politics
Here's a simple solution for you French. Stop opening/commenting on this thread and just concentrate on the football related ones.

Problem solved without the need to involve the mod.
how would he have known it was about politics when it had 'world cup' in the title. not really his fault for opening it.

ironic as a recent warning has been given for misleading post titles!
Fair point and I agree regarding misleading headings but, he didn't have to open it a second time once he knew the theme of the tread. Just move on and ignore it.

Rapid and FrenchTrimmed (oddly not commented on the more politically heated Zenit thread ) its a big boys discussion now your probably want to stay out. Others on this board want to discuss it so if you are not intetrested post on other threads and dont spam this!

Tricky you've been proved wrong as usual

See the link you will find its very much a football related topic FIFA now to investigate!

The issue is we took land off the Irish without asking ... does that mean its right and we should never give it back? - view external link

big boys discussion yet you didn't want to discuss my 'big boy' question about ignoring the democracy.

I make this the 3rd thread in recent times you're singling me out for comments I haven't made.

    *sigh*.

Two points snap tho Tamworth on subjects like these!

    1. How some will just jump in knowing nothing but still have a preformed opinion!

    2. How many will demonstrate absolute hypocracy when it suits!

The same applies when trying to get them to look subjectively at football on its own. If it doesnt suit them they will go on the attack to anyone that will question and reson as they have nothing to comeback with!

Rapid look at the examples given above and try and get someone to explain it to you. Democracy when you've exiled all the other inhabitants is easy. Look at several nations in Africa and how they have done it. So answer me a question I have posed to you on democracy ... why are we placing sanctions on Russia when the Crimea democratically voted to return to be part of Russia ... is that not democracy?

Oh come on Ratty, that's semantics. There are dozens of places around the world that can claim that.
Read the other threads, instead of clinging to your own agenda.
    Here's a hint-

What are you going to do with the inhabitants born there under a different sovereignty? Move them? Make them suffer?
I'll explain it so we can get this out into the open. Civil war will ensue. You know this as well.
    What was

when britain "conquered" the falklands, the islands were empty of people and spain was yet to ethnically cleanse an area of south america to form argentina. They havent got a leg to stand on.

re: World Cup: Argintina up the anti!

Basically britain were in the process of colonising the falklands which had no native people's and then after this point spain colonised "argentina" (which didn't exist yet) which did have native people's. I don't see why britain should give the island to the descendents of spanish colonialists (and i don't see those descendents returning "argentina" to the Guarani ) simply because it is closer to argentina then britain (but still like a thousand miles away). Its a case of the spanish conquering "argentina" and then going "Oi England give us that other island too you colonialist scumbags, they're quite near this area of land we have just taken". I'm aware that some of the natives that weren't slaughtered in "argentina" assimilated and became part of argentina but that doesnt alter my argument imo.

Argentina's sole claim (as any argument based on colonialism is rank hypocrisy) is based on the concept that the Pope could divide up the south Atlantic between Spain and Portugal 400 year
