    Post rumours

If these rumours were true, would you expect departures of good players, or squad cover increasing? - view external link

I don't believe these rumours at all. They are simply odds being offered. For me, we don't need much more. We have brought in 4 already. I would like to see the following:

Defensive Midfielder & Defensive Cover at RB & CB:

This is clearly Lee Peltier for me. I was really impressed with him and with Leeds' troubling financial situation, they would likely unload him and his wages for a nominal fee around £100k if not a free transfer.

Pace out wide: I like Reid, Paterson, Mackie etc but I do not believe that we have a pacey wideman as part of a front 3 and we could do with adding this. Tyson's touch was awful but his pace really pinned defences back and I would like us to add that to the squad. For me, Britt Assombalonga fits the bill perfectly. He would be expensive but, I think, well worth it.

Who I would release / sell:

Cox, Majewski, Collins, Harding, Henderson, Djebbour.

I think we still need these guys shipping out and I want space for our younger players to emerge. Osbourne

I would like to see all those released/shipped out.
Massive wage drain, for little return.
I agree about the pace side of things. You have to have a mixed bag, for all options. You mentioned Tyson. Remember Franz Carr? Not the best footballer in the world, but the pace was frightening and he caused all sorts of mayhem in some games. Pity his dad thought he was Johan Cruyff

Still can't see NFFC spending 3 million up front for Assombalonga. Maybe with add on bonuses if he performed, but PBoro won't go for that.

No way will we blow our budget by spending 6-7 million on one player, as good as McCormack is.
Parachute payments will prevent us from competing in that ballpark.

Franz Carr, One of the most frustrating players I have ever seen at forest, He used to beat his man about 5 times then knock the ball out for a goal kick or something

5 agree with what you say about Assombalonga. On other sites there is a huge question mark over his attitude and temperament. There are better players out there for less. As for MCormack the asking price is to high.
