According to the Daily Mirror, Championship promotion hopefuls Derby are plotting a £1million raid for Middlesbrough striker Lukas Jutkiewicz, who caught the eye while on loan at Bolton last season
Not for me ...

Alan Nixon is more reliable than most on here tbh. I believe it.
I'd be happy to have him as cover for Martin, but for a million? I'm glad it's not my money.
I am not sure how you can say he is not as good as Bennett and Ward. Completely different players.
Bennett is not ready yet. We have seen that. This lad is a pure number nine and always seems to score against us so worth a punt
Anything is better than Sammon.
This says us and Wigan have bid - view external link
Technically, he is a pure finisher.
Would be a very good 2nd option and as said before, offers something different to what we already have (and better than sammon)
I think he would score goals in a team that creates, like us!
In Mac we trust!!!![]()
I rated he when he was at coventry and was disappointed we didn't make a move for him when Boro signed him.
Seems to have fallen out of favour at Boro for whatever reason but did well on loan at Bolton.
Certainly would offer us a better option from the bench (if he doesnt start, change in formation?) than Sammon does, and if we do sign him I think we will sell Sammon anyway.
Boro's asking price is meant to be £1m (fair price IMO) so if the bid is accepted as expected then its down to talks, maybe his good mate Keogh (from their time at Coventry) will help persuade him to join us.
In his career he has played at teams struggling whereas with us he would be playing under an excellent coach and in an attacking team...I think he would thrive in our team.
I think that's the key, he has always been in not so good sides, but been relied on to score them goals.
I'm sure he will suit our style and have enough service to bang a few in!
