    Thorne lastest

Can be bothered to read about Lucas J for 1m... Surely that could get added to the other million in another bid for George?! Or is it a time waster as WBA won't let him go?

Sorry in advance if you are over Gt posts.

New interview today seems he might get minutes at WbA? Change anything?

I think the interview with Irvine shows that we may be pretty close to getting Thorne.

Irvine basically says he wants to look at Thorne, but he isnt bigger than the club and if he isnt better than what they have, he won't play.

That surely won't be enough for Thorne and I think he will still want to leave and come to Derby and be the main man.

I cannot imagine Irvine will stand in Thornes way and he will probably force Peaces hand because he won't want a sulking player amongst the ranks.

As for Juke, he will be a good signing if we get him.

Not sure how one equates to the other?

We need as a minimum another striker a right back and a defensive mid, no doubt McClaren has a plan based on available budget, but dont think he'll say, saod it, instead of getting the 3 or 4 players i need I'll blow the budget on one player!!!
