We have been approved by the FA for academy 1 status, no clue when the announcement will be. Brilliant from Rush, Vicars and Wassall

fantastic news. the club really seems to be heading in the right direction. I can't help but think sam rush is driving us forward. we're showing some real ambition.

In the midst of Bryson and Hughes resigning, and the Thorne deal seemingly edging closer, this shouldn't go unnoticed!
Long term, this is the best news we could get. There isn't a higher level academy now, meaning our players can't get poached, if I understand the rules correctly?

I believe so. And it also means we can pinch kids in all the categories below 1.
