I agree with the folks that see this as a positive message. Especially as he is including Thorne in the reply. To me "No doors closed" is the equivalent of saying "All avenues are open".

Be patient guys, since when do negotiations be broadcast publicly on a minute by minute basis?

This is what i've heard - Thorne deffo wants to leave the baggies and its down to haggling between the clubs, it aint even the price, its the way the fee is structured, West Brom want more up front Derby would prefer to pay installments and add ons.

Until the inks dry on the paper then nothings certain but if i was a betting man then I'd say the odds on us getting Thorne are good.

I for one are glad we have a club who will take their time to negotiate the best possible deal, we have in the past seemed to be willing paid over the odds for players (just for the record I'm refering to pre Clough times!).

Mr Wilson should know better, you can't use a 'clever' play on words, when tweeting to Derby fans

@WBrettWilson: @StefanBroome @andybedz @ossieram @DavidMillett22 so if Thorne simply isn't for sale - you suggest we just shut the club down?

What is it with folk on here jumping the gun and misinterpreting things so widely? Someone the other day mentioned players having a go at the physio...how they got that I do not know, and this is obviously saying the door is open!

Stay away from Twitter for your own sake and others you old cronies!

Was definitely said tongue in cheek.. The manor in which he's saying things suggests to me that nothing had really changed and things are still as they were..

    Hold tight people!
If the Thorne deal WAS dead, do you not think we would have been linked with more midfielders by now? The fact that we havnt been says a lot!
