    Ex Goalkeeper Bill Famer

    Good Evening,

Just thought i'd let you know that your ex-keeper from the 1950's Bill Farmer has sadly passed.

Hopefully Fawaz etc will honour his passing.

Forgot to say that if any of you speak to any representatives from the club then his funeral is on this coming Wednesday at Kettering Crematorium at 1:00pm if they want to show their respects, hopefully they will...

    Sad when anyone passes away.
Don't see anything being done, other than a mention in the programme. It was 60 years ago.

Hang on, am I missing something here?

Nope, just thought that the club, as any club should do in my opinion, should at least show their respects, how hard is it for any club to put a quick mention on the website / send some flowers??

From what I know Frank Clark understood this probably more than most as he would always invite the old players back every season for a get together.

Fair comment, but I have to say I had never heard of him until you brought it up.
