    Luke Juke to Turf Moor

According to SSN transfer centre, Burnley have agreed a fee for Boro striker Lukas Juktiewicz.

Fine by me, apparently we bid 1.5mil rejected for him, which I think is too much anyway and if we're looking for a 1.5mil striker we can do a lot better than him. Best of luck to him in the Premier League.

Hard to compete with Premier football (Bryson aside ),. I do think he would have been a useful addition, but only at the right price. Steve will have others in mind and I have confidence they will bring something extra to the team.

For a promotion push we are going to need a squad full of quality and options...it will happen. I've been so impressed by how we are being run and the positive outlook that is eminating throughout the entire club.

Juke is a handy player but I suspect for the price being asked there are others out there that could fit the bill.

I'm sure that many rams fans will be pleased by this news - he's a good player but at £1.5m he was perhaps a bit expensive

I posted on a different thread that Chris Wood (Leicester) would be an ideal striker as Leicester seem to be buying up lots of new strikers so his chances may be few and far between - again I don't think he would come cheaply though - just a thought

Also Billy Sharp for free (has he been released?) would be a great addition to the squad in my opinion

I wonder who else could be in steve's mind if they are looking for another striker?

In addition - Nick Powell in on loan would be a class addition up front - id guess there'd be no chance of this though

Really? He's a worse version of Bamford.

cracking negotiating by m'boro. he can't get it their team and has 12 months left on his contract and yet they made a profit on him.

I'm very happy we didn't pay that kind of money for him. well overpriced imo.
