    Bamford

Nothing long after the play off final the club (Simpson specifically) announced that they were interested in bringing back the three loan players this season. We know Wisdom had gone to WBA and Thorne (enough said) but it has all gone quiet regarding Bamford. I wonder if we are still trying to pursue him?

    Does anyone ITK know anything?

I'm not ITK (is that the word of the week?) but I'd say there's no chance. I noticed he scored last night in a pre season friendly for them. he'll want to give it a go getting in their first team but if he does go out on loan I'd imagine it will be to a premier league side.

Sadly I think he'll be one of those players who just disappear intp the abyss, no doubt he's got talent and an eye for goal, but gives
the ball away to much, he needs first team football if he is going to progress, one of the reasons that England are site :/

Nowhere near good enough, I haven't seen enough to suggest he ever will be good enough for a team like Chelsea. Is he going to be ahead of players like Lukaku in the pecking order who himself still gets loaned out? I don't think so.

Spot on, won't make the grade there. Not a strong enough work ethic for JM and also apart from him finishing, the rest of his game needs loads of work. His first touch and decision making are just not good enough.
Wish him all the best though, nice lad.

In an interview with a local newspaper whilst on loan with us, he stated he would be going back to chelsea to stake a claim for a first team spot, after scoring 5 goals he had a sit down and chatted with mourinho regarding his future, where i believe he may have been offered a new
