We've apparently already agreed terms with him, and even if we haven't yet, he's not going to reject them after publicly saying he wants to leave WBA for us, and we're not going to offer him a poor deal after stumping up somewhere between A£2.5m and A£3 for him.

He played 45 minutes of football only the other day so I'm sure he'll be fit enough to pass a medical

I'm sticking to this GT thread as the other one has turned into complete handbags...

So glad a fee has been agreed, lets hope his medical goes swimmingly.

Undisclosed usually means paying over the odds, thank you Derby. At least we have put your money to good use. Good luck next season anyway.

congrats, you have got what you wanted at OUR price I suspect and that is a player with potential, the kind of player that you sometimes take a chance with as regards the prem.on this occasion WBA PLC look like they have decided they can do without the risk of his POTENTIAL and will no doubt replace him with a PROVEN player.best of luck for the coming season ...no sour grapes here

On the contrary usually means under what's expected so doesn't alert other clubs or pee selling clubs fans off.

As to subject of this thread it's again how people mead to learn to read. They have agreed a price which means Thorne is OFFICIALLY still a WBA player still.

    FACT!!!
