Not easy to judge where we are. We played like it was a training session, expecting Chester to back off. They didn't.

Gave chances through misplaced passes out of defence and often the final ball was a let down as we looked to walk the ball in.

Tootle was definitely the pick of the first half, despite missibg a great chance. Good move for Atkinson's goal. Shearer never really tested by wasteful finishing.

Second half we looked better as the youngsters came on as they treated ut as a proper match. Chester equalised with what looked like a cross, cwrtainly Shearer did not move.

Atkinson looked ok, the ex Spurs trialist(forgotten his) never got service with which to judge.

Grant had a decent game, despite Chester paying very close attention to him.

I trust that was tongue in cheek ...?
Looking at some of their recent signings, (among them our rejects!), I wouldn't take their judgment as much to write home about.
    If anything, it's a *BAD* sign ...!!

didn't mind the look of atkinson, looked like he wanted to drop deep to receive the ball and get play going, something we've been missing
