Thread: Are we done now?

    Are we done now?

Methinks that might be it now until the loan window opens.

    Thoughts?

I still think we'll be signing a striker and maybe a centre back!

Agree, we need both. We need to replace Bamford and i am not convinced about Keogh.

If that is the case then I'm quite happy - in George Thorne we've got a real quality player and spent big. It's a show of intent.
A striker similar to Martin would be good but the reality is Martin has got his spot nailed down - a new striker would just be a back-up. I also expect Mason Bennett to have more involvement this season and with Sammon as well there are options.
Left back could also be stronger - but as with Martin, no one will displace Forsyth so unless needed it's not a concern.
Covering Loan players is all I would expect but I'm not disappointed by that as I might have been in the past - the calibre of loans we can attract is significantly more impressive now.
In all honesty it's the best squad I've seen in years!

    GK - Grant / Roos
    RB - Christie / Freeman
    LB - Forsyth / Naylor
    LCB - Buxton / Whitbread
    RCB - Keogh / O'Brien

    CDM - Thorn

I am hoping with his Man Utd and now the Dutch connection we can get at least one loan signing from there. Maybe the lad we had last season who did not really get a game. Cannot remember his.

Wasn't a massive fan of him.

Big season, fitness wise, for OB. Gotta stay clear of any lengthy injuries, or surely it's curtains to higher level football for him?

I think our defence is still quite suspect and needs strengthening. Keogh gives me nightmares

Without been negative, we are weaker then we was at the end of last season, yes we have had 6 signings but how many are going to play 1st team football, having said that I'm happy with what we got, it could of been a lot worse i.e no Bryson or Thorne and the team pulled apart, put i think some more will come
