Nice one Ella.
I've thought for a while that this will be a big season for Hendrick, I think he could be the stand out player for us if he can stay fit.

Roos
Hadn't much to do really. Looks the part and his distribution is good. Can push Grant this season. No fault for the goal. 6
Christie
Played 60 minutes. Hasn't got the upper body strength of Wisdom but is as quick; moves over the grass very effortlessly. Lightening raid down the right within the first five minutes was mouth-wateringly a harbinger of things to come. His balls into the box looked better than anything Wisdom managed all season. 7
Keogh
Jesus how the Derby fans applauded him and sang his when he was withdrawn late on. Busy and led the team as a captain should but cost us the goal when he dallied on the ball when there was very little danger and lost the ball. He will recover but at the mo is a chink in the armour. 5
Bucko
Impregnable. Sprayed the ball and bossed his man. 7
Forsyth
Excellent. Threat going forward and very solid at the back. Hit the post 2nd half. Got wide on many occasions and put lovely balls in. 7

Thanks Bear. I agree with your assessment of Hendrick. This can be his season.Originally Posted by Bear DCFC

Do you think Hendrick will start that much? I don't think we will change too much formation wise from last season, so I would guess Thorne Bryson and Hughes will all be ahead of him.
He has to make an impact when he gets a chance.
At least he knows Schteve will be fair when the chance arrives.

Interesting you say we played a midfield diamond for part of the game. I did wonder if we might look to mix up the formation a bit this year, and play the 442 diamond style. It's the only way I can see us fitting in all midfielders when fit. This might be why we have been in the bidding for a 2nd striker.
better than this ;-)Originally Posted by ellafella
