who is the biggest club in the midlands ?

there have been many clubs in the midlands over the years, who have had periods of success at different times, derby , forest, villa, wolves etc.

but i think in most neutral fans views, villa are the biggest club in the midlands by quite a distance.

    discuss ?

I agree with it being Villa. Again it's about success, results and consistency.

Although they are not consistent at winning most games they are getting the results that are consistently getting the points that keep them in the Premiership which compared to the rest of the midlands clubs gives them the most success! IMO like.

It must be Aston Villa as they are the team that has spent most of the time in the top flight.

Using that criteria WBA are the second biggest and Everton are bigger than Man U and Sunderland are bigger than Spurs.

Look at a criteria such as most top 5 finishes in the top flight:

    Villa 30
    Wolves 22
    Derby 16
    Forest & WBA 12

Oh god. Not another "who's biggest". Let's not.

It's a pointless exercise and there are too many ways to measure it. Frankly, I don't really care if West Brom are bigger than Villa etc
