Gotta say I agree with Ratts on this one...other than Thorpe this summers signings have not exactly set the fans alight

After coming so close I thought they would decide to go for it

SAYING THAT...the window isnt closed plus loan signings could come so im not gonna start panicking like some

Let's not forget tho, that a lot of young Prem loans often disapoint. Christ knows we've had many duff 'uns in recent years. True SMc did seem to get sopme crackers last year, but Best has a point to prove too, in his own way, and has experience that a 'kid' might not. Let's see what happens with this one. I've got a sneaky feeling it'll come good

Good point Toggles. Best doesn't set my pulse racing but someone I've not heard of from a premier team isn't a guaranteed hit either. Especially one who is coming in as back up or bench warmer.

on which note, what PL manager would send us one of their young starlets just to sit on bench? Surely our best bet is to go for someone surplus to requirements on "approval" with a view to buy if a hit? That may be Best, it may not. We shall see.

Lets be totally honest about this one...If Forest fans came on here saying we just signed Leon Best " how bout that for a signing " ...you`d probably laugh at em

He`s had many a chance IMO...what next Marlon Harewood... Freddy Eastwood ?????
