    What do we know about Rotherham? (pron: Rov-rum)

    1. Their manager is Steve Evans. He managed Crawley when they beat us in the F.A. Cup. He wasn’t a big fan of NC and was not the most magnanimous person in victory. Some say he’s not very gentle.

    2. They were promoted through the playoffs after beating Orient on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Wembley. In fact they have achieved successive promotions over the last 2 seasons.

    3. They have former Rams Ben Pringle & Paul Green in their midfield. And former Tree Hugger Matt Derbyshire.

    4. They have recruited no fewer than 10 new players during the close season. Their manager has bought players who seem to have a point to prove in one way or another and are a blend of seasoned Championship (eg Green, Derbyshire) and young didn’t- quite- make-its (eg Jordan Bowery, 22 from Aston Villa, their record signing at around £200k)

    5. They are nicknamed “The Millers”.

    They are also close it appears to signing Steve May from Scotland.

    On another note they have had two successive promotions and still expect to field a few original players. The jump from league 1 to championship is far greater imo than league 2 to league 1.

    If we score first they are in trouble.

    And Rotherham is a town that loves it's footy (like us) I hope they do well but not against us!

    I think it will be a very hard game.

    Looking forward to seeing Pringle and Green again. Though should be able to beat them.
