    re: Scarboro...

"I went to Scarboro for a walk around today and went into a chippy on the seafront where i purchased a battered sausage and chips (3.15p) and sat on the bench outside...
From out of nowhere a bleedin massive seagull came down and swooped on the sausage, grabbed it and flew off...
I sat there open mouthed both amazed and shocked, ive got the feeling that it had practiced this trick many a time before..."

I remember the last time I also had my sausage yanked by a big bird in Scarbrough, and it also ended up being well battered

    Only joking of course!!!!!

You've got to watch those damn gulls over on the east coast, they're greedy sods. I regularly goto Hornsea, Skipsea, & Brid etc.

Brid has got that tackyness about it which always appeals to me. And it brings back memories of better days Chalky, when we regularly went there in the 70s for family days and club trips.

I was at Hornsea recently for their annual rainy mid July carnival. They just arent the same anymore.
