not an obsession, just an observation, my opinion of what bowyer will do..Originally Posted by robinrover
whether you like it or not, lowe is highly rated within the game as a midfield player..

nope, within the game in general. lowe in fact is possibly higher rated than cairney or evans..Originally Posted by robinrover
Why have I not seen any evidence of this ability then?
maybe that`s because you have a one eyed view of the game, i can see quite clearly the job lowe does in midfield..Originally Posted by robinrover
You can't question the job Lowe does do in midfield, he does break up play well, however, the other night Williamson played the holding midfield better in the second half compared to Lowe's performance in the first half.
However, that was just one game as I have also seen Williamson put in some right stinkers.
I just hope that bowyer only plays with him or Williamson against the stronger teams in this league playing with a holding midfielder every game will result in our stay in this league a little longer.
I think its not a case of whether Jason Lowe is a good footballer or not ..personally i think hes quite good at the job he does ..but its more of the fact his style of play doesnt work with the players we have ...we re a quick offensive side ..unfortunately Lowe cant play that way in midfield ..the move loses pace instantly and threat over ..just the way it is in my eyes ..
as a sitting player, lowe isn`t involved in build up play..
look, everyone has got their wish, cairney and evans together in the team. the price to pay for that is we MUST have a sitting midfielder for the inevitable occasions that they give away possestion..
I think he is only suited to 4-5-1 which of course isolates Rhodes.
