    D_D's Player Ratings vs. Carlisle

A steady win in the cup and a second consecutive clean sheet, monday night proved a successful one for the Rams. The ratings:

Grant 7- A great save from a direct Carlisle free-kick was his only real action, as it was their only shot on target. His distribution was improved from saturday, but still not perfect. One thing I notice is his throws out are very accurate and pacey, perhaps he should try to throw it out more?

Forsyth 7- Bombed on well early on, and put in some teasing crosses, along with some poor ones. His one-two and shot in the box was a highlight, and if not for a good save, he'd have finished off the move with a lovely goal.

Whitbread 7- I'd go as far as to day Zak is aerially our best defender. He won all his headers tonight. He lacks Buxton's passing ability, but shows flashes of being able to carry the ball out. I think if he can stay fit, he'll play an important role this season. It's worth noting he assisted Hendrick's goal tonight, albeit fortuitously. He did so
