How to solve a problem like West Ham

The problem is the inhibitors that wreck the plan of progress and improvement.

These are obvious, glaringly so, but we will list them as an illustration of imperfections that curdle the healthy whole.

    Sam Allardyce the man responsible
    Kevin Nolan
    James Collins
    Matt Jarvis
    Ricardo Vaz Te

Remove five imperfections and the team will be improved by a wholesale factor of five.

David Sullivan could do this today. It would be the equivalent of spending 100 million in the transfer market.

That is the difference that the Chairman could effect today.Without spending anything. Nothing at all.

The cobra is not an imperfection. He tries hard and his rewards befit his talent. No more no less.

Change the manager and his chances of continual selection dwindle to zero.

It's very simple. I have explained one way.The easiest way.The less expensive way.

Obviously the first cancer to remove is Sam and the sooner the better.
I don't agree that Jarvis should go. With a proper striker leading the line he will be fine.

Carlton is a great bloke and will play his heart out for the team but...he isn't up to the job.
Nolan is another cancer to be removed but if Sam goes Nolan wouldn't be in the team anyway.
