If we're playing 4 3 3 this is how i'd line up
Adrian
Jenkinson Tomkins Reid Cresswell
Kouyate Noble
Morrison
Valencia Sakho Zarate
Lots of potential with this team IMO
Agreed, but it will never happen.
i haven't seen enough (or any) of either jenkinson, cresswell, kouyate, valencia, sakho, or zarate to form an opinion...
that being said, i will grant you that they do get the juices flowing a little more than seeing a line-up with o'brien, jarvis, vaz te, diame, nolan, and cole.
I agree with that line-up and I think Diame and Poyet should be your first two options off the bench.
The likes of Noland and Cole should be brought in for the last 10 mins see if they can nick a goal.
So let's get this right.
Ammeread comes on here accusing a lot of people of "blaming Allardyce for everything" and thens his starting line up which includes 6 players not selected by he who must not, apparently, be blamed.

What lingers in the mind from saturdays display, was the lack of variety in their play and the insistence on crossing from deep positions.
Now I wondered whether this was a trend or a trait and mulling it over,it's a trait. It's not a trend because nobody else does it.
Which If I'm right would suggest more of the same to follow. Which is why I would have preferred it to be a trend ...
except thats not what actually happenedOriginally Posted by Whiskyman
Exactly. Theres also Downing who can replace either valencia or zarate we have about 15 or 16 potentially decent players for this formation that can make it succesful.Originally Posted by Plashet Park Player

Certainly a bold line-up but in Sam's World this would be akin to fantasy football. There is a greater chance of Alex Salmond saying no to Scottish independence than Allardyce choosing so many attacking players.
I am also slightly non-plussed by the reference to 4 3 3. Is this an assumption of what Allardyce is currently applying? I would say it was more 4 5 1, featuring as ever a totally isolated central striker. Allardyce is totally risk adverse and never likely to change his approach.
