If any of this is true then surely it lends credence to the other rumour I'm not believing either about WBA actually wanting to sign Matt Jarvis for...lol...7million.

'Amalfitano scored four goals in 28 appearances for Albion.'

With that kind of strike rate we should play him up front.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce must move a player on before he can sign Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano. Amalfitano on hold as someone must go The Frenchman is desperate to secure a move to the Hammers after falling out with Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa amid reports of a training ground bust-up. The 29-year-old is even prepared to go on strike to ensure he returns to the Premier League, where he played for West Brom on loan last term, before the transfer window shuts at the end of this month. During his time at The Hawthorns, Amalfitano scored four goals in 28 appearances for Albion.

But the other side of that coin is with that strike rate he's have been our 3rd highest scorer last term behind Nolan and Cole.

Seriously I've not seen much of him but we desperately need extra quality in our midfield imo. We need someone to create opportunities for the strikers we've brought in.

Wonder who will be moved on then? Vaz Te, Jarvis, Cole? Nolan!!!? No of course not simply because there's no other club in the top 2 leagues that would touch them. It'll be either Winston Reid or Momo.

We are desperately in need of a cb as Ginge's suspension has graphically pointed out 1 game into the season. Yes Kouyate can play CB but what a waste!

Still gives Sam an excuse "I went all out and got attacking players to keep everyone happy. Not my fault we have no fit defenders again" After an 8-0 drubbing by Burnley no doubt.
