    U21 game

    Not long back

    Spurs 2 - West Ham 1

    Same 4-3-3 system

Poyet, Potts, Burke, Oxford and Lee playing among others.

Second best on the whole, particularly second half. Poor old Elliot Lee chasing lost causes most of the evening although he did miss a gilt edged chance from 6 yards.

Spurs passed it around us second half and scored a really good goal to win it. We'd equalised their earlier opener with a free kick (that looked a bit like a cross) from Bywater.

Have to say no-one stood out - Spiegel made a couple of sharp saves but also dropped a couple. Oxford and Burke looked assured at times but Spurs did create some decent chances. Pretty average showing.

Sat in the seat in front of Rob Lee - god knows what he must think of his boy running his b ollocks off on his own up there every game.

4-3-3 played properly shouldn't involve strikers being isolated.

Problem with the Allardyce way is our midfield doesn't, or can't, get up quickly enough to support whoever is the patsy up front.
