My expectations this season is my cautions raised last year will be proved true and people will still try to deny it or create lies to try and back track. Pretty standards.

I think current form is showing where we are as a club and haven't improved in the last 12 months and possibly moved backwards!

to be fair rat you ahve been waiting since last October for McClaren to fail and post a triumphant "I told you so" you being the great old wise Rat and famous derby county soothsayer and all!

I think that some fans expectations have been raised to the extent that they believe Derby were odds on for automatic this season, but that does not take into account the new teams in the division and what other teams do.

I think you are tad pessimistic Ramando - Thorne clearly made a differ

Must not get overexcited about what in truth was a poor Fulham team, but hopefully that shows what we have been missing and that Hughes, Bryson and Hendrick will just have to take their turns in midfield

Agree totally. Fantastic result but to be absolutely honest - Fulham were very, very poor at the back. They were one of the worst defending teams I have seen in the last year, similar to Forests performance at the ipro. Fulham looked a bit better going forward though.

Having a recognised defensive midfielder in Eustace seemed to balance things more for us. But I still think we made the first 60 minutes harder than we should, given how poor Fulham were. That quick fire passing just wasn't there, we looked a bit sluggish still. The last 20 minutes were great though.

Hopefully this can give us the springboard we need to start moving up a gear.

Great day at the office. Well done boys.

The funniest part of this whole thing is that nothing you say is "comedy gold" is actually "comedy gold."

One big difference, Ramando hasn't been slagging off the current regime for months, but is merely voici

I haven't been been slagging off I just haven't jumped feet first onto the blind faith band wagon. I've constantly used the wait and see. My main points have been to still recognise the weakness and be realistic about them and not let other things cloud my judgement.

I also stated the summer would show us how great or not the current management is and not just build on what was already there.

I think ramondos post touches on a lot of these cautionary points and currently suggest my concerns appear to be well based.

It only takes a few bad results for those fickle fans to jump off one band wagon and onto another. Whereas I've stuck to my guns in light of constant abuse and what we are seeing suggest I was right to do so.

We will see as the next few months unfold!!!

Injuries play a big part in how a team competes, we know from experience. I thought from the TV that you put in a good performance yesterday. No 30 yard screamers, but well worked goals. A lot of posters on here moan about Keogh and your central defence, but you look pretty tight at the back. There is nothing I would like more than for us both to go .up, but there's still 42 games to go. Anything could happen, the bookies won't be getting any of my money.
