I'll bump this one up for you, Acido, mate, but deep down inside believe that as long as the Wolves are kickin' butt on the pitch very little attention will be turned towards the NFL.

Delighted to see the Jets win today, although we made hard work of it. And, with the Bill and Dolphins winning the Pats prop the division up - I couldn't be happier!

Some surprises so far in Week 1.

Defending champs Seahawks eviscerated the Packers, which made me happy.

Falcons look like they're ready to put last season behind them and beat a solid Saints team in OT.

Bengals beat the Ravens on the road.

Bills beat the Bears on the road, which is fantastic as the Bears are division rivals.

Titans and Texans had surprising wins IMO. And the Dolphins beat the Patriots by two scores in the opener, could not have seen that coming.

And despite only losing by 11, the Cowboys looked well below the level of the 49ers, who jumped to a 28-3 halftime lead.

Lions open on MNF tomorrow night. Hoping to put last season's collapse behind us.

First of all, tahh Tundra for 'bumping' this one up.

Ive been on here a few seasons now and Ive noticed that there are still one or two NFL fans around like me, and thats why I create threads like this.

I refuse to talk about Dallas being hammered at home by San Fransisco, we just had on off day thats all lol.

BTW, is Tony Romo still the Dallas QB ?
Hes never going to take us anywhere, and hes simply a poor mans Troy Aikman.

    re: the new NFL season

Ok lets look at the 100% teams after the first 2 weeks of the season.

    AFC: BUFFALO, CINCINNATI, HOUSTON, DENVER.

Denver are obvious challengers, but who would have expected the likes of Buffalo & Houston to start so well ?.

    NFC: PHILADELPHIA, CAROLINA, ARIZONA.

Philly are always going to challenge my team Dallas when it comes to the Nfc East. But it shows how poorer the NFC has become in recent years that Carolina & Arizona also have a perfect start.

    re: the new NFL season

Ok lets look at the latest 'unbeaten' teams so far, after 3 games.

CINCINNATTI were the only AFC team to keep their record, and along with the NFC teams PHILADELPHIA & ARIZONA, they all goto 3 - 0.

And lets not forget JACKSONVILLE, OAKLAND & TAMPA BAY, these are the minus teams who have an awful 0 - 3.

PS - Well done to Dallas for winning 2 succesive away games this week, although it was only away to Tennessee & St Louis!!
