How is this a ridiculous thread exactly?? To me all moly has done since his signing is give the ball away. He was brought on against Barnsley to make an impact instead he went mad at Leigh for a bad pass and instead of trying to win a header he jumped into the Barnsley player. And I don't agree that you could say the same about most of the other players. Garratt, toots, Guthrie, duggy, Nolan, grant, Turton were all outstanding in the later part of last season. These players aren't able to do their best when you have Molyneux giving the ball away all the time and George Ray heading the ball to the away sides strikers! Just a few changes to the team and we would be much better. Audel for Ray and Inman/cooper for moly would be a start!

Not the time to be having a go at individual players, the problems are much wider than that. There's not one individual scapegoat and I certainly don't think Lee deserves the individual detailed criticism that he's received on this thread.
Brad's certainly not the answer he also blows hot and cold.
I'm not blaming moly for the problems with the team. That goes much further but he is a huge liability. Can't pass the ball, doesn't score and is too dependant on his left foot. He is a player who's perfect for league 2 but shouldn't go any higher. Similar too lee bell and ajay and to some extent vadaine, perfect types of players for league 2 but shouldn't go higher.
I don't think they are using him as a scapegoat. LM is simply not good enough at L1 level. No harm in saying that, surely? It is down to the manager not to play LM if he cannot cut the mustard.Originally Posted by RedandWhiteSpartan
Perhaps if the club had of offered Byron a reasonable contract, instead of the derisory one year deal (Max was offered 3 years), then we would have one suitable player on that side of the field.

I think Byron had decided to go - and to Port Vale - long before the end of the season. His heart wasn't with the Alex, so what's done is done. Molyneux is simple going to have to get

I would be happy if he never played again! Max Clayton started off as a 'Super Sub' coming on and scoring, making a difference. Remember MC coming on and getting the winning header against Gillingham?
Lee just hasn't done that At all.!
Molyneux has started two games and has been quite poor - although on Saturday only Garrett, Guthrie and possibly Haber could claim to be anything else
He should probably be dropped now - which will give Inman yet another chance to show us the player we had on loan who went missing this time last year
Anyone know where that player went?
On Saturday it was the lack of fight that was the greatest concern. Swindon were competent and organised but nothing special. We had no goal efforts and only Garrett prevented them getting the 4 or 5 they deserved
