For some reason I've been unable to sign in for the last few days. I've missed you guys

I've been told that Ibe is expected to sign on loan but hasn't yet. He was due to meet the management at moor farm today. Don't know as yet how or if that went on

I get the impression that Ibe won't be coming & I suspect its because he "expects" guaranteed first team footbal which McClaren can't give.

If true, it seems that too much smoke is being blown up Mr Ibe's derriere: too many YouTube videos of dramatic music as he runs down the wing.

Certainly have the impression that he's a big fan of himself.

18 years old and a step father and an agent getting in on the act. High maintenance...

Sure he has great potential and look forward to seeing him play if he comes, but how is any player guaranteed a place in the team?

If what is being said is true, that he won't come unless he's guaranteed a start, then I'd rather he didn't come.

Yes he's a fantastic player, but guaranteed starters is where complacency comes in, and do we want someone here who will kick off if he doesn't start every game? At the moment we have a few players who can play in the position he can, all of which would love to be starting every game and can all be interchanged to match their form and so on. If he comes here he needs to realise he's 18 and has to fight his way into the first eleven, the same as everyone else. Will Hughes is 19 and has been linked to all these clubs, but does he kick off when he finds himself on the bench for a few games?

    Source? McClaren in the news.

No wonder people don't believe it when people claim to be in the know. Done deal? Text from a member of the coaching staff? I don't think so.
and yet we have signed him...

Erm we all knew days ago we were going to sign him this week. It had been all over the news, but he clearly had not signed when this guy claimed he had.

McClaren said yesterday we were going to have talks last night. It doesn't take inside info to know we were signing him. FFS you guys will fall for anything lol

Someone reads something on twitter, they pass it on, they then decide to take a shot of predicting the day it will happen, and mugs on here believe it.

I know a fair few people who work at Derby County, and transfer news is not passed around willy nill
