It's all a bit worrying to be honest. We just do not seem to be the same team that finished last season

Grant No chance with the goal with the defence all at sea and unmarked ITFC players swarming. Some iffy distribution including 2 hospital passes, one to Buxton and one to Forsyth. 6
Christie Had a bit of a nightmare; got forward but ITFC found space and were able to get plenty of ball across from their left 2nd half. Christie was a threat going forward but probably his worst display in a shirt for Derby. 5
Forsyth I counted 5 stray passes. Control was also iffy at times. Didn’t seem to be at the races. I can’t remember see Forsyth play so poorly; he was ok in the tackle though and not a lot got by him. 4
Buxton Solid enough but also hit a couple of stray passes; one of which virtually gifted a run on goal by the ITFC forward. Fortunately Keogh shepherded him away. 5
Keogh Played well enough, won headers and got blocks in but was he at fault for the goal? A well-marshalled defence should never leave an opposition player free

No Eustace is world class posts on here tonight.
Will get absolutely slaughtered by better players in this league.

Agree with most of the above ratings, and contrary to some of the comments around me I thought Keogh played very well yesterday, getting us out of jail with some very well placed challenges and good positioning.
Other than the goal, what disappointed me most about yesterday's performance, was our midfield 3 (Hughes, Bryson & Eustace). Not one of them, at any point in the match, offered Keogh / Buxton an outball, none of them came to collect. This left our CB's in tricky situations with Ipswich sitting men on them at all times, and Grant playing more passes than our midfield. Eustace tidied up a couple of times, but Bryson was largely invisable, and Hughes dollied on the ball when in good positions. We miss Thorne.
I did however think that Ward had a good game, thought he was unlucky to conceed a foul that lead to the goal, was one of our few threats, and Russell really does look the business, hope he can kick on this season. Pleased for Martin to score again too, goals
