I bet Jim White was knocking one out under the desk to that one.

The mancy red plastics are a desperate bunch these days. Desperately in need of top notch centre back they spend a fortune on a winger and a centre forward...

Not sh1te, but imo one of those players who wouldn't have half the hype surrounding him if he didn't play for Man Ure.

That said. I'd take him over Carroll or Cole every day of the week.

True. It's hard to imagine any forward having less impact than the perennially injured Carroll, or the perennially 'championship at best' Cole though.

Arsene has stated he might be in for an out-and-out goal scorer. Danny Welbeck scored twice last season.

And when he did play, was positioned on the left for Manchester United...so the hodge, positioned him on the left playing for England.

So can he play down the centre and be successful ?...I know let's spend 16M and find out...

I would have used the money from the Diame sale to sack Allardyce.
Yet we let him sign players that he doesn't know how to manage...
When are the board gonna fu(king get rid of this bloke? He's not right for the club.
Get Neil Lennon in, a passionate manager who plays decent football.
