    re: The Independence Referendum

The No campaign have had no scrutiny put upon them by our press at all. There are loads of questions they haven't answered. What actually happens if we vote No.

Many, many politicians are calling for an end to the Barnett Formula and for Scotland to be brought into line with the counties of England. That would see us lose £4billion a year despite us already contributing more than we get back.

The Unionist parties are advocating more powers after a No vote but can't agree among themselves what we will actually get. We don't know who will win the 2015 Uk election so why won't they guarantee something up front?

The House of Lords have already taken away powers from the Scottish Parliament. Do they intend to do this again? The Uk government have issued licences in Scotland for fracking. The only thing stopping it is the Scottish Government holding powers over planning. Can they guarantee they won't take this power away?

1 What new powers is Holyrood guaranteed in the event of a No vote?

2 Can you guarantee future Westminster governments will retain the Barnett formula, which is used to calculate Scotland's annual grant from the Treasury?

3 What will the impact be on Scottish families of the £25bn of new public spending cuts announced by the Chancellor this month?

4 Can you guarantee Scotland will still be in the EU in 2020 if there's a No vote?

5 What extra powers will be devolved to Scotland to grow the working population?

6 How many more children will be living in poverty in Scotland in 2020 as a result of Westminster policies?

7 What steps will be taken to close the growing gap between rich and poor?

8 What will the UK's national debt be in 2016?

9 Will an Oil Fund be established in the event of a No vote, as we plan after a Yes vote?

10 How many UK army, naval and air force personnel will be based in Scotland in 2020?

11 How much will Scottish taxpayers have to pay for the replacement of

The latest poll is very pleasing but there should be no taking the foot off the gas . The Yes campaign has done brilliantly so far but the next eleven days will feel like we are in the Alamo.

robqos ,what have you got against fracking ,theres energy to be had at the crust of our earth ,yea it may cause a few earthquakes and other odd situations but these people that are against it have got to ask themselfs 1 question ,who does it benafit ,and the answer to that is it will benefit me and you ,through cheaper gas ,the only peope who will complain about it are the people living over the gas ,just put all that into prospective ,its like queens wanting to build a stand on the treggeles street terrace and a few people objecting wont matter jot if we want it enough, now from my point of view id say go and build the stand and stick two fingers up to these holders back ,if fracking would reduce my energy bills i say god bless fracking . but all in all i would just settle in having my country back . no matter what people do these things will eventually happen the thing is we will defo use fracking cause there is gas and oil reserves in scotland that are under land ,these energies hav

Despite the latest polls favouring the yes vote - the bookmakers still offer what seems a generous 9/4 on the yes and go 2/5 on the no outcome. The odds compilers seem to be making a generous allowance for the armchair no sympathisers who they assume in the wake of the yes momentum will get out and vote in big numbers.

For me the big issues remain unanswered :-

Currency won't officially be sterling but if Scotland chooses the pound without the Treasury in Whitehall having control of Scottish economic policy the divergence between the two economies could make Scotland another debt ridden Greece.Scotland could set up its own currency but would have to expect a sharp devaluation especially if it defaulted on its historic share of UK debt.

Indications from the European Commission is that an independent Scotland would have to apply to join the EU.remember new nations are forced to have the Euro as their currency.

Britains national debt - if Scotland does not honour it's share of the de
