I don't see the injuries as anything but bad luck. Training and conditioning are heavily monitored sciences these days. Blackburn's staff in these areas are very well qualified and seem to be highly regarded in the game.
League football clubs leave no stones unturned in their efforts to ensure maximum fitness. I bet there isn't even all that much difference in training methods from club to club, as they are all working on pooled knowledge.

    Champs,

Yes BFC were incredibly lucky last year, but what is not being acknowledged (now that they are suffering a few) is that they are now in the Prem. therefore the impact, upon results, is hugely 'magnified'.
Also, my concerns are towards our long lasting 'bad luck'. There has been a thread of this running for a few years now i.e. treatment room attendees.

Just my opinion, but to me I have some doubts over our 'methods' of training.

As said the idea should be to give the manager 'options' when the game plan needs changing, therefore he needs a mixture of fit options on the bench. If they are sat in the stands, that 'option' is denied.

Yes injuries do happen, and there nothing you can do to actually stop them, but ours definitely need cutting back.

Agreed Despair. Fact is,the fitness levels under Mark Hughes were better.

Last season we scored 70 goals to Burnleys 72,but conceded 62 goals against their 37. They do mix up the play much better than us(hence my comment to watch them training)

I know stats dont tell you everything, but our defence cost us big time; the number of late goals conceded was reminiscent of the Steve Kean era.

Do we need banners to unfold around the ground after say 80 minutes which say " Concentrate.Game NOT over"

Burnley have scored 1 goal all season. Why would we watch them train?

Injuries occur. For every team. We had injuries during our championship winning season. Our best players over the last 20 odd years all had long term injuires. Shearer, Su

Champs is talking sense, for me it's bad luck.

It's been the same for the last few manager, stretching back as far as Allardyce.

    Maybe and maybe not.
Burnley have already 2 clean sheets in the Premier League,we still havent one in the Championship, and there are few teams in our league who concede as many goals as Rovers. Check the stats if you dont believe me.
Dont want to sound downbeat after another great attacking performance but if we cant defend better|(a bit more like Burnley)we are going nowhere. I repeat my point again (from Bolton fans)playing Baptiste at right-back is an accident waiting to happen - he has now conceded 2 penalties(and counting).
