Assombalonga isn't your 20 goal striker

    So said DCFCdaveCov

Only 3 more tonight, that makes 8 in 7 games. Slow down Britt it's still only September.

We didn't play well tonight but still managed to win. Not a bad habit to get into. Unfortunately Chris Cohen is out for the season with yet another cruciate injury.

It could be an end to Cohen's career at this level in all honesty - very unfortunate!

As i said on that thread, i can see him scoring 20 quite easily, if not more. Real shame for cohen.

Good result at Blackburn, I think you perform just as well away from home as you do at home. Hope we're both up there at the end of the season, early days.

sorry dave but I think you've had a stinker on this one mate. he looks quality. the goal he scored tonight where he brought it down on the turn and buried it was world class.

his second header where it deflects off the post and he prods it home on the rebound,a lot of strikers would of admired there header and fell to sleep but he was alert and put it away.
It was Antonio who scored that world class goal where he took it down over his shoulder and put it in the far corner.

From what I've seen (granted not a lot), his all round play is pretty poor, but as against us, he takes his chances and has a real quality eye for goal.

The way he plucked the ball out of the air and finished that one goal was great, even emphasised your excellent quality of football... I mean hoofball

How ****ing good will i look when i'm right, though!

Still believe he won't make 20. Might be wrong on Martin scoring more though. I'll admit that.

Give it up, he's got 39 games to find 12 more, even the most rose tinted rival fan wouldn't be wagering on him not reaching the target.

Plus we haven't even counted his cup goals.

His positioning and pace, not to mention power is looking alright for this division.

There's even talk of D R Congo wanting him for the African Cup of nations come January.
