    A Little Dig At Rush?

Clough talking to 5 Live about his Dad and the state of football today:

"He still would have been incredibly successful," he told BBC Radio 5 live's Pat Murphy.
"But there's an obscene amount of money in the game and [b]I think the final straw would have been that there are ex-agents getting involved running clubs.[b]"

To be fair Rush has done a decent job since taking the position. As a club on and off the pitch we have certainly moved forward.

OK 'Roger' what busy schedule would that be

So 'winston' where the evidence to back that up. Have yourself the books? Areas of the club such as the ticket office amongst some have been terrible and the team appears no better than this point last year, the management appears to have added any players to improve the squad and other posters such as ramondo are saying they are bored.

The evidence would suggest progress had stopped and in fact gone backwards if we are no longer progressing as we had been year in year.

So the permanent signing of George Thorne did not improve the squad?
The manager having a win % of 58 as opposed to 33 shows nothing?
Comparison of league position/points per game at this stage of the season compared to the last is irrelevant?
Perhaps most importantly the return of disillusioned fans and the optimism and excitement factor hasn't happened?
Of course it helps actually being present.

I don't see any comments from anyone called 'Roger' on this thread...until this one? Speaking as a Roger, I for one have no knowledge of your schedule.

    The fact would show differently.

The team isn't actually performing as it was this time last year, you haven't seen the books but the commercial side of the club has been slated by many and you haven't seen the books but clearly they are not great as with last season thee hasn't been a lot of spending.

As for Thorne that's an unknown quantity. Remember porter set off like he was on fire and never rekindled it after injury.

We no longer have the three or four promising signings and the policy of buying and developing players in the first team seems to have stopped.

To me the club has stagnated when you ignore PR And spin.

Somehow, I don't think Ramondo being bored will be part of the owners' evaluation of Sam Rush's performance.

I presume you are ignoring win rate / loss rate when you decide if we have improved?
Perhaps they don't fit your 'like for like' garbage method of analysis.
