    Meanwhile, on planet Adkins...

"Against a team who play excellent possession football, I thought it was us who were in control of the game at that time."

"Unfortunately, the goal changes the complexion. It's a great bit of wing play leading into the second goal which is unfortunately a deflection - the second one in two games now against us."

I thought we battered them possession wise similar to Cardiff on Saturday. As with Cardiff the goal was a long time coming. Slightly worrying we have to start taking chances

The man is deranged! I also struggled with BBC stats which gave 50-50 possession. I know they had spells but I think it was more 60-40.

Anyway we won and we won well!

    Indeed - 50-50!!

I didn't go, sadly, so can't really comment i suppose, but listening on RD it sounded like us on the ball majority of first half, and edging it in second, too. Similar to Cardiff where we were 70-30???

if fairness to adkins he was clearly referring to the time of our first goal and very much like Cardiff, they had a really good 15 minutes or so after half time. personally I thought we rode that storm and was probing again but I don't think his comments are completely our of hand when taken in the right context. of course he failed to mention that we dominated the rest of the game at 2-0 flattered them if anything.
