    Jordan Ibe

This guy is frightening. His agility, flair, acceleration and dribbling ability are unreal, I'm really looking forward to seeing him have a run in the team, he is going to terrorise defenders in this league. Given he was up against an International full back in Gunter and had him on toast tonight, I'm really excited by this lad.

Absolutely. I was a little sceptical about Ibe following his signing. But having seen him tywice now, I have to say "Championship full-backs...be very afraid. This guy will skin you, and then stitch you back together again. Inside out."

It's a long time since I was so excited about a young player as I am about Ibe.He's so quick it's frightening.Nothing seems to phase him,he slips round defenders as if they weren't there!
I'm sure he could slip through a gap in a door!

Gunter is no mug, but Ibe made him look one time and again last night.

As I wrote on a different thread, he gives us something different...blistering pace combined with skill to beat a man. Chrissy Martin must have been watching last night and thinking "get this kid in the team".

The balls he is gonna be pulling across the box will be a strikers dream

A pity their keeper finger-tipped that effort onto the bar last night

and he'll still have time to fill you with straw in between

as I said before last night, Ibe will take this league by storm.

In fact he is so good, let's all make a resolution to learn how to spell his. It's the least we can do for such an exciting prospect.

    So that's J O R D O N Ibe.

    Thank you

He's got so much raw potential. Without putting a dampener on things, I want to point out he's not the finished article just yet. A couple of times last night, he made the wrong decisions regarding where to cut the ball back, when to shoot, when to pass etc.

I'm not saying this as criticism, it's just his age/experience. Fans need to keep in mind how young he is. He'll have games where nothing comes off or he makes really poor decisions, but I'm sure they'll be a lot more good games than bad.

He's an immense talent, but lets not heap tons of pressure on the lad. We don't want to end up giving him the ball every time and become predictable. I'm sure the Mac will use him wisely though.

We have probably the best two future England stars in our team. Hughes and Ibe.
