    More diatribe from DF

Here is some transcript of Dougie talking about loan players.

“You borrow these players, kick-start their career, they buy into what you are asking from them but then they return. It means you have to start all over again and that’s difficult from a coaching point of view.

“You get a system but the next minute you are changing it again because different players are coming in.”

The first paragraph is for context but it's the second one that interests me. He's talking about different loan players coming in but different players are coming in every game because he changes the team week in week out. The players are confused and it shows when they play.

the players are confused and most of them are also sh1t,so its easier for them to be baffled by duggies tactical wizardry. When I say most of them are sh1t im exemting mills and derviete those two have been playing blinders past few weeks.

Eric G. : This match should have been won by 4-5 goals looking at how poor Bolton were. Does it show that we are relying too heavily on Hazard and Cesc? Possibly yes.

The above was a comment from a Chelsea fan in the daily mirror. He obviously doesn't have the same brilliant understanding of the game than Dougie.I haven't heard his post match yet but undoubtedly we were on top for most of the game- correct??

Dougie seems pleased enough with how the team are playing as the players are tuned in to what we are trying to do ( only have one shot ?)and we restricted them to only long distant attempts on goal, (all 33 of them?).

"The spirit and commitment our group of players showed was fantastic throughout.

“I was pleased with our performance as a defensive unit, I felt we frustrated them to a number of attempts from long distance.

“We scored a good goal that was well worked on the training ground - the players are tuned in to what we are trying to do here and that certainly showed tonight.

“Despite exiting the competition, we can come away from the game with a positive feeling. We encouraged and backed each other from the first to the last whistle.

“We now head into a run of Championship games looking for wins. We’ve been playing well for large parts but haven’t been able to find the result.

“We’ve got to take the positives from our performance at Chelsea into our games in the Championsh

You can take all the positives you want from Freedman but we will still keep on losing!

That's more like it I was sure the Chelsea supporter had got it wrong in the daily mirror. If you didn't know how dire our situation was and you read that you would reckon we were 10 points clear at the top.

"I felt as a team we stuck at it for the duration of the game and in the last 15 minutes, we opened things up and pushed Chelsea close and were unlucky not to find a second equaliser late on."

Erm...I really don't know what to say other than 33 shots vs 1 doesn't really state the case for us being unlucky not to get an equaliser. Bizarre!!!

what can df say other than what he's saying

the other answer he can give is

well chaps because ive been lurd into this job with false promises with no money to spend and at the same time trying to massage everyones ego's who wants to play, but ain't giving me 100% on the field when playing and i have a chairman who is a lying fu ck and does not give me the tools to go and buy some quality or get some quality on loan because of the wages it costs its hard to stay positive but I am because I will see out my contract and when coming to re new I will ask for the dow to spend or I will walk with my record of not being sacked intact guys plus my contract is coming to an end in november ! so i'm very positive
