    Attacking Intent

After years and years of negative tactics does anyone else find it such a breath of fresh air that we attack for 90 minutes?

perfect example last night. 90 minutes and johnny's got it on the wing. does he go for the corner flag? no. does chris martin think '**** this he'll go to the corner flag' - no. martin busts a gut to get ahead of his marker. johnny puts in an inch perfect cross and voila! 2-0 and comfortable.

it's no coincidence we always have a fantastic goal difference under mac, who knows how important that could be come the end of the season.

more importantly for me though, it's bloody good entertainment! I go to the football because I want to be entertained. by attacking, attractive football. if we win it's a bonus. it just so happens that we have some of the most talented footballers in the division and they're being allowed to express themselves, rather than sitting back and defending a 1-0 lead after half time.

these are great times to be a rams' fan.

Yeah, i said to my Dad last night after 30 mins, i'd be happy with a draw. Bournemouth are a good side.

But to watch us finally go ahead, then take the sting out of them by keeping the ball for what felt like 5 minutes was brilliant to watch. 2 cross field balls from Hendrick, and then Bryson in the last few minutes show that we aren't afraid to take chances/not bothered about completion statistics too much.

I also love the fact that if we're drawing after 75/80 minutes, i know Schteve will go for the 3 points. Every game is exciting for me. Can't wait for Millwall on Saturday.

Such a shame there's going the be a 2 week break after that.

I agree its certainly worth the ticket price! However, Mac is not a one trick coach as he closed the game out well against Bolton.
